Privacy policy

What we collect

Only what you type into the quote form: name, phone, project location and your message. We do not ask for ID numbers, bank details or card information. The site does not process payments.

What we use it for

Only to answer your enquiry and follow up on the quote. We do not sell, rent or trade your data with third parties.

How it is sent

The form opens a WhatsApp conversation with the message pre-written. That means the content travels through WhatsApp and is also subject to that platform privacy policy.

Site statistics

We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit the site, which pages they read and how many contact us. This is aggregate data: it does not identify you personally and is not cross-referenced with your name or phone number.

It only loads if you accept it in the notice shown the first time you visit. If you choose «Only what's needed», Google Analytics is not activated and no measurement cookie is stored. To change your mind, clear the site data from your browser settings and the notice will appear again.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries while there is an active commercial relationship or an ongoing project. If you want yours deleted, write to us and we will do it.

Your rights

You may ask us at any time to access, correct or delete the data we hold about you. Write to servicioalcliente@piscinasyspasjireh.com or call +506 2260-8273.

These rights are the ones granted by Costa Rican Law 8968 on the Protection of Individuals with regard to the Processing of their Personal Data. The party responsible for the database is Piscinas y Spas Jireh, Plaza Jireh, Lagunilla de Heredia. The data you share is used solely to handle your enquiry and is not distributed, disclosed or commercialised to third parties.

Cookies

This site uses no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and sells no data to intermediaries.

The only cookies that may load are Google Analytics, and only after you accept them. Until you do, the site works exactly the same: the form, WhatsApp and the catalog depend on no cookie at all.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date above.

⚠️ Note for Jireh Pools & Spas: this text describes what the site does today and works as a baseline. Have your legal adviser review it before treating it as final. Two clarifications on Costa Rican Law 8968: (1) Costa Rica has no cookie law — 8968 governs personal data, and what it requires is informed, express consent plus notice of the responsible party, purpose, recipients and rights, which is what appears above; (2) registration with PRODHAB applies to databases that are distributed, disclosed or commercialised, not to internal-use ones such as Jireh's enquiry records.
