We design it and we build it. One party responsible.
Design-build means the firm that draws your pool is the firm that pours the concrete. Nobody in between the drawing and the finished water.
What design-build actually means.
In the traditional model you hire one company to design and another to build, and you referee between them. Here it is one contract, from the first site visit to the day the water goes in.
Site visit before anything is drawn
We walk the lot first: grade, machinery access, where the sun lands through the day, where water and power come from, and how the pool reads from inside the house. A design drawn off a plan by someone who never stood on the property is how you end up with a pool in the shade every afternoon.
Photorealistic 3D before we dig
You see the finished pool — shape, finish, edge detail, lighting — before the excavator arrives. Changes on screen cost nothing. Changes once the shell is poured cost time and concrete.
Our own crews
Structure, plumbing, finish, equipment and lighting are all done by Jireh staff. We do not subcontract the structural work, and we come back to the same pool for maintenance.
One number to call
When something needs fixing there is nobody to blame down the chain: the designer and the builder are the same company. That is the entire point of the model.
Why it matters for a pool specifically.
A pool is not another room. It is a concrete structure that carries water, moves with the ground, and hides all of its plumbing underneath.
What gets buried cannot be fixed
Plumbing, drains and electrical runs end up under concrete and decking. If whoever designed it did not know where the pump would sit, correcting it later means breaking things open. Designing and building together is what prevents that.
The structure is engineered, not copied
Reinforced concrete with structural calculations, not filled block. Costa Rica is seismically active and the soil changes from one canton to the next. A generic plan pulled off the internet knows nothing about your ground.
Equipment drives the design
Water volume sets the pump, the pump sets the filter, and the filter sets the size of the equipment room. When a closed design arrives from outside, the builder ends up putting the equipment wherever it fits.
Fixed price, real schedule
Because we answer for both stages we can quote a fixed price and give a date that holds. A typical residential pool takes 8 to 12 weeks.
